About the Department
The department aims to provide strong fundamentals in Science and Technology to the students of under graduate courses in Physics. The department has highly qualified and dedicated faculty members with lots of Teaching Experience. The department has excellent infrastructure for the conduct of Laboratory Classes, and it is well-equipped with a good number of modernised and valuable equipments such as Laser, Fiber-optic kit, Four-probe Apparatus, Photographic equipments, Polarimeter, Hall–Effect apparatus, Hystersis apparatus, and Ultrasonic interferometer, CRO, AFO apart from the routine ones. The Physics laboratory has an inbuilt area of about 2000 sq. ft. and can easily accommodate 70 students at a time to do the practical individually at a time.
