JJCET CDC has taken a step to make the students into future Entrepreneurs with a view to shape the global economy.

Facilitates the ideas and recommendations of youth to transform them into upcoming entrepreneur.
MISSION
To assist students to implement their ideas without any apprehensions.
OBJECTIVES
- Create awareness on Entrepreneurship among the students through training programs and camps.
- To identify and motivate budding entrepreneurs.
- To facilitate budding entrepreneurs by providing information on entrepreneurial opportunities.
- To create database and networking to help entrepreneurs.
- To assist entrepreneurs in product development.
Functions
- To arrange Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps, Entrepreneurship Development Programmes and Faculty Development Programmes in the region for the benefit of budding entrepreneurs.
- Our Entrepreneurship Development Cell is associated with National Entrepreneurship Network & Entrepreneurship Development Innovation Institutes Council of Anna University.
- To carryout research work and survey for identifying entrepreneurial opportunities.
- To direct and support prospective entrepreneurs on various aspects such as preparing project reports, obtaining project approvals, facilities from agencies of support systems and information on various technologies.
- To organize guest lectures, Seminars, etc. for promotion and growth of entrepreneurship..
- To make plans for visits to industries for prospective entrepreneurs.
- To broaden necessary guidance and escort services to the trainees in obtaining approval and execution of their projects.
- To give expertise in Intellectual Property rights, Patents search, etc.
- To organize Business Plan Competitions.
- To fix up interaction with entrepreneurs and create a mentorship scheme for student Entrepreneurs.

Report On Entrepreneurship Development Awareness Programme Organized By EDC & IIC, JJCET
JJCET’S EDC Organized the one day awareness programme about “National Entrepreneurship Day” to encourage more youth to become Entrepreneurs and job creators on 09.11.2023 from 10.00am to 05.00pm at Seminar Hall – JJCET. Initially Dr. P. Mathiyalagan, Principal – JJCET gave his Views & Ideas about Entrepreneurship Development.
Dr. T. Nallusamy, Director, EDC shared the importance of EDII, He explained about the different government schemes, how to approach the government sectors for fund utility and he gave the ideas for other sources of funds.
He gave multiple ideas to the students and staff to make Startups in different sectors and he clarified all the doubts are asked by the participants. Around 150 Students & 10 Staff members are effectively participated in this programme. Finally Mr. Suresh Raj, Assistant Professor (EEE), gave the vote of thanks.
Guest Lecture
Trichy Plus Organized the awareness programme about “Linking to career through Linkedin ” on 28.05.2023 from 04.00pm to 06.00pm.
Dr. T. Nallusamy, Director, EDC, JJCET Shared his own experiences to the students. He gave multiple ideas to effectively using the Linkedin to the students and staff. He explained how Linkedin Play a vital role to make Networks in different sectors and he clarified all the doubts are asked by the participants. Around 40 Students & 10 Staff members are effectively participated in this programme. Finally Mrs.Savitri Sivakumar / Director / Trichy Plus gave Vote of thanks.
