About Library
The JJCET Library was established in the year 1994, and then it has been housed with 1500 books. Central Library is located in ground floor of main block with a total area of 951.58 sq.m. At present, housing 57,165 volumes of books, 21,916 title of books, 3000 back volumes, 108 subscribed periodicals, which include national and international journals as well as magazines. Library equipped with high-tech electronic computer systems with Bio-metric entry. Library has a good infrastructure with spacious Reading Hall and Digital library. Digital Library providing 38 number of computer systems available for easy access to e-content from portal of DELNET, AUERC and NDLI e-journals. Also CCTV camera surveillance is available for monitoring.
The library is automated with Insproplus (ERP) library management software with version 7.2. All the transactions are fully computerized and all the books are Bar – Coded with scanners, which is used for charging and discharging of the books. The main objective of our library automation is to provide a quality service to readers and to establish an efficient book storage system.

Rules & Regulations
- Entry is permitted with ID card only.
- Every member should scan the ID card at the library gate system while entering and exiting.
- Undergraduate (U.G.) students can borrow up to 5 books at a time and Postgraduate (P.G.) students can borrow up to 6 books at a time. Teaching Staff can borrow up to 10 books and Non-Teaching Staff can barrow 3 books at a time. All borrowers are allowed a one-time renewal for each book.
- Reference sources, such as dictionaries, project reports, reference books, journals, and magazines, are not available for lending.
- Books must be returned on or before the due date indicated on the due slip. Failure to return books on the due date will pay in a fine of Rs 1 /- per day.
- Any form of marking, underlining, or other alterations in books or periodicals is strictly prohibited.
- If a borrowed book is lost by the members they have to purchase a new copy with the latest edition or pay twice the cost of the book as per the library records to the college office.
- The library is a designated study area. Therefore, members are not allowed to eat or speak inside the library. All the members are advised to maintain strict silence and observe discipline inside the library.
- After reading journals, magazines, or books, members should ensure that they return them to the appropriate place provided on the rack.
- During library hours, it is required that at least one faculty member be present in the library to supervise and maintain a quiet environment for the students.
- Digital Library is to be used for academic purposes only.
- Members are required to leave their footwear in the designated shoe stand at the entrance of the library.
- Members are required to store their belongings, such as bags and other items, at the property counter.

Facilities
- The college library which is functioning under the open access system has a total collection of 55,280 books. The approximate annual addition is about 20 volumes.
- Circulation takes place through the Barcode system.
- A modern digital library network with high speed internet access is also housed in the premises.
- E-Journal (Springer link) is available in our college.
- Reprographic facilities with printers and CD writers are available.
- Separate Sections for Reference Material, Book Bank, Periodicals, and Project Reports are provided for easy access.
- DDC Coding, Bar coding and PALPAP Software facilitate faster processing. Inter-library loan facility is available.
