National Digital Library of India (NDLI)

The National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources, offering more than just search and browse functionalities. It provides a wide range of educational services tailored to the needs of various learner communities. Sponsored and mentored by the Ministry of Education, Government of India under the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT), NDLI enables filtered and federated search to help users find relevant content quickly and efficiently.

NDLI offers customized services for different user groups, including exam preparation resources for school and college students, and materials for job aspirants, researchers, and general learners. It supports content in multiple languages and provides an interface in 10 widely spoken Indian languages, making it accessible across linguistic boundaries.

Designed to cater to all academic levels and disciplines, NDLI is inclusive of life-long learners, supports various access devices, and is accessible to differently-abled users. It allows users to explore and learn from best practices worldwide and facilitates interlinked research across diverse resources.

NDLI is developed, maintained, and operated by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur.
